Our Story

 

At Thera+Kids, we value the power of connection, a belief rooted in the legacy of speech-language pathologist and co-founder Lori Gross. With over two decades of experience in Houston, Lori built a premier practice focused on social-emotional learning, pragmatic language, self-regulation, and family involvement, ensuring exceptional care through a multidisciplinary approach.  

 

Olivia’s passion for speech-language pathology began during a transformative summer volunteering with Lori. Inspired by Lori’s dedication and creative methods to help children communicate, Olivia pursued a career in the field and has been supporting children’s communication development since 2021.  

 

In 2024, after closing her Texas clinic, Lori and Olivia brought their shared vision to Midtown Toronto, founding Thera+Kids. Combining years of expertise, we offer personalized care that emphasizes communication, connection, and family involvement in every child’s journey.
